Atna Resources Ltd. of Golden, Colo., has completed its previously announced acquisition of the Pinson Gold Mine in Humboldt County.
It acquired a 70 percent interest in the mine that it didn't previously own from a subsidiary of Barrick Gold Corp.
Sprott Resource Lending Partnership provided a $20 million (Canadian) secured loan to finance the cash portion of the deal and provide Atna with capital to begin developing the project.
