Appeal columnist to speak in Vegas

Nevada Appeal political columnist Guy W. Farmer will be among the speakers March 30 at an event in Las Vegas commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Nevada Gaming Commission.

An afternoon program and reception, organized by University of Nevada Las Vegas William S. Boyd School of Law, will be held at the Thomas & Mack Moot Court Facility on the UNLV campus. The program will feature keynote addresses by Richard H. Bryan, former Nevada attorney general, governor and U.S. senator; and Gaming Commission Chairman Peter Bernhard.
