Asian eatery franchise signed for Reno

Savory Investments LLC, which holds the franchise rights for Famous Dave's BBQ in Reno and Sparks, will add Asian foods to the company's menu.

Scottsdale-based Ling & Louie's Asian Bar & Brill said last week it reached a franchise agreement with Savory Investments, owned by brothers Sean O'Neal of Reno and Rory O'Neal of Carlsbad, Calif. The restaurant will be at 4965 S. Virginia St.

Expected to be open by the end of this year, the location will be the first in Reno for Ling & Louie's, which has opened six locations in the West.

Savory Investments LLC opened a Famous Dave's BBQ store this year at 4925 Kietzke Lane and holds the rights to develop four Famous Dave's locations in Reno, Sparks, Chico and Redding, Calif.
