Carson City worship band I Am "They" will present two concerts in the area with Christian recording artists Bebo Norman and Nathan Tasker (Australia's 2006 Artist of the Year).

Both concerts start at 7 p.m.

• Thursday, Oct. 13, they will play at the The Rock Church, 4950 Vista Blvd, Sparks.

• Saturday, Oct, 15, the concert will be at Calvary Chapel, 1635 Clearview Drive, Carson City.

In August, I Am "They" participated in the Spirit West Coast Festival, a three-day Christian Festival in Monterey, Calif., and performance-based contest through the Partner & Play Program. I Am "They" were awarded the highest rating in the program, earning the band entry into the Christian Festival Association's National Indie Artist Showcase, booking into the Spirit West Coast 2012 event and a Nashville recording session.

The October concerts are a fundraiser to help I Am "They" travel to Nashville for the recording session. There will be a raffle at the concerts that include special gifts from Bebo Norman, and a chance to win "Home Delivery with I Am 'They'," in which I am "They" will play a personalized show at the winner's home or a venue of choice.

VIP tickets for the concerts are $25, which includes a pre-concert meet-and-great starting at 5:30 p.m. General admission is $15 and doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are available at iTickets.com, His Word, The Manger, Calvary Chapel Carson City, and San Rafael Coffee Co.
