Katie C. Stumph, 93, passed away April 5, 2012 in Sparks, NV. Katie was born October 30, 1918 in Shell Lake, WI to Henry and Olga Baumgartner. Katie had been a resident of Carson City, NV since 1981. She enjoyed many happy times playing nickel slots at the Carson City Nugget. Katie never uttered an unkind word about anyone.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Everett Stumph who passed away in 1994.
Katie will be dearly missed by her daughter, Barbara Buchanan, and three grandchildren, Andie Wilson, Steve Siegel and Keith Sundstrom. Also one great granddaughter, Mallory Katie Wilson.
There will be a funeral service for Katie on Monday, April 9, 2012 at 3:00pm at Walton's Chapel in Carson City, burial will follow in Walton's Carson Gardens cemetery.
