Crittenden Thornton left for San Francisco last night. The high winds of yesterday will probably afflict us with another storm. There is eight feet of snow at the north end of Lake Tahoe. Logging will begin a month later than usual.

Ed Walsh was sliding about town yesterday in a new Buick auto. Ed seemed to be getting the speed mania before the day was ended while watching for Sheriff Regan. This is a pleasure car.

Nevada has long been known for its vices, and this time they may end up at the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, D.C. The State Historic Preservation Office is working to put on an exhibit of saloon archeology.
