On Monday night an immense audience comprised of our best element filled the Opera House to witness John Tobin's comedy, "The Honeymoon," presented by local dramatic talent for the benefit of the Ladies' Library. The principal magnet to attract such a fashionable audience was Miss Adele Waters.

How autos are used in business in Carson. All autos are not mere toys. During the summer Grover Russell has put his machine to many hard tests by using it for prospecting tours. He has taken to the sagebrush, gone over abandoned roads, and gone where teams generally go (continued on Wednesday).

Mrs. Sylvia Crowell Blackburn leaves today for Des Moines, Iowa, where she will enter training as a member of the Women's Auxiliary Army Corps. Experience in office and statistical work qualifies Mrs. Blackburn for special training.

Hank Monk, Carson City's veteran stagecoach driver, was busy today organizing a Las Vegas Posse. "Just gotta find out if they have coffee breaks down south," he muttered. The weather will fair tonight and tomorrow with a high of 94 and a low of 46.

Construction is proceeding at a frantic pace on two new schools for Carson City students. However, they may have to wait for a few weeks until the buildings are complete.
