General Metals Corp. of Reno said last week it's talking with three parties about possible financing of its Wilson-Independence gold and silver project near Battle Mountain.
Resident Dan Forbrush described the talks as "very preliminary" and said there's no assurance that the company will get any of the financing it needs for the project.
