Carson teen reportedly hits stepdad in head with pipe

A Carson City man was arrested Tuesday morning on charges of battery with a deadly weapon, domestic battery and minor in consumption of alcohol after he allegedly hit his stepfather in the back of the head with a metal pipe.

The stepfather was in an argument with his wife when Dylan Rooks, 19, allegedly struck him, according to the arrest report.

The victim was bleeding from the back of his head, according to the deputy who responded to the scene.

The "whole front side" of the victim's head was covered in blood.

The two also reportedly fought after the alleged assault.

Rooks then went to the hospital for injuries and was arrested at 1600 Medical Parkway.

His bail was set at $133,369.
