Local students chosen to direct plays in Missouri

Jeffrey DeGraw and Ryan DeGraw of Carson City have been selected for a chance to direct live plays on Dec. 8 and 9 at Culver-Stockton College in Missouri.Students will take responsibility for all aspects of the show as each chooses a play, casts performers and crew and takes charge of directing and producing the chosen work.Senior arts management major Jeffrey DeGraw will be directing “Donut Holes in Orbit,” written by Prince Gomolvilas.Senior theater and speech education major Ryan DeGraw will be directing “The Case of the Crushed Petunias,” written by Tennessee Williams.
