60 years of marriage for couple

Susan Shedd and Robert Louis Schroeder of Carson City celebrated 60 years of marriage on Dec. 21.The couple was married on Dec. 21, 1952, in Portland, Ore. Together they have three children, Robin Schroeder of Minneapolis, Minn., Michael Schroeder of Astoria, Ore., and Wayde Schroeder of Santa Clara, Calif., and six grandchildren.Robert is a retired professional engineer. He is registered in civil and traffic engineering and worked 32 years in the Oregon State Highway Department. Susan was a homemaker.The Schroeders have been Carson City residents for 23 years.
