Police to beef up patrols for Super Bowl Sunday

The Carson City Sheriff's Office and the Nevada Highway Patrol are joining forces on Super Bowl Sunday to keep Carson City safe.

Those participating in the event will focus on patrolling the streets to look for speeders and drunk drivers.

"We want everyone to have a good time but remind them to use a designated driver or cab service," said Sgt. Darrin Sloan.

"Our primary concern is to keep the streets of Carson City safe for all citizens."
