Little Washoe Lake is closed for reseeding, rehabilitation

Little Washoe Lake is closed until further notice, according to the Nevada Division of State Parks.

A spokesman said the closure was made to allow reseeding and rehabilitation of the park from damage caused by the Washoe Drive Fire.

Little Washoe Lake is located at the intersection of U.S. 395 and North Eastlake Boulevard.

All other areas of the Washoe Lake park system are open,including the campground and hiking trails that are at the south end of the park.
