June E. Hargis, 93, passed away on January 19, 2012 in the Washoe Drive Fire. She was born on October 23, 1918 in Chicago, Illinois.
June loved to watch professional football, knit and watch movies.
June is survived by her daughter Jeannie ìPennyî (Pat) Watts, son James R. Blueberg (Mary); 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11:30 am at Will of Worship Church, 22 Cash Dr Moundhouse, NV 89403. A potluck/fingerfood reception will be held at the church following the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA and Washoe/Pleasant Valley Fire Departments. Northern Nevada Memorial was entrusted with the arrangements.
