Although Thalia Hillmann's due date was Feb. 18, she had a feeling her baby would come sooner.

"From the first day, I said he's going to be a Valentine's Day baby," she said. "(Monday) I told my mom, he's going to come tomorrow."

On Monday evening, she said, she went for a long walk. By 9:25 a.m. Tuesday morning, Valentine's Day, she was at the hospital.

At 10:11 a.m., little Jayden Michael Parks came into the world, weighing 7 pounds, 10 ounces.

"He's a love baby," Hillman said.

And he wasn't alone. Three other babies joined Jayden, making their arrival at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center on the most romantic day of the year.

"I was really happy," said Angelica Solis. "I got a little girl for Valentine's Day."

Annabela Rico Solis was born at 1:12 p.m., weighing 7 pounds, 15 ounces. She's the second baby for Angelica, who also has a 2-year-old son.

As far as Valentine's gifts go, she said, she was happy with hers.

"It's cuter than any other one," Solis said.

When Breeanne Cisneros came in for an appointment Monday, her doctor was concerned about her blood pressure.

"What do you think about having a Valentine's baby?" he asked her.

Baby Rylee was predicted to come Friday, the anniversary of the day her father presented a ring to his mother.

But Breeanne said she was happy with Valentine's Day, as well.

"Either way, it was going to be special," she said.

Rylee weighed 7 pounds, 8 ounces.

Dustin Michael-David Hillis wasn't supposed to come until March 8. But his mom, Christina, had her water break Monday at work at Western Nevada College.

"It's just around the corner, so we didn't have far to come," she said.

The oldest of the Valentine babies, Dustin was born at 5:47 a.m. He weighed 6 pounds, 11 ounces.

Despite being nearly a month early, Christina said, her little Cupid is doing well.

"He's fine," she said. "He doesn't seem to have any signs of being as early as he was."

He did, however, put a crimp in his parents' Valentine's Day plans.

"(My husband) David said, 'I had plans for dinner tonight,'" Christina said. "I told him, 'It'll be OK. I'll let you off this once.'"
