Major Norman C. Brown, executive officer of the selective service addressed the civil pilot training classes as to the present war conditions and draft registration. Brown announced that the days of half-measure effort are over.

Muller's Drug set a new team record as they cashed in a sizzling 3098 to win the "A" Division title in the Eighth Annual City Association Tournament last night. Pictured is John G. Macdonald, Sr., Clarence Eiche and Russel (Bud) Hill. In the front row is Bob Hopkins, Lou Werlinger and Stan Pochop.

Ormsby House hotel-casino owners said Wednesday a widely publicized accountant's report blasting the hotel-casino for poor management practices painted an unfairly bleak picture of the business. Hopes are that foreclosure can be avoided.
