Andrew Woeck allowed just four hits over seven innings with eight strikeouts to lead visiting Western Nevada over 11th-ranked Riverside Community College, 12-4, on Thursday. Woeck is 2-1.
Cole Furguson went 3 for 5 with a double and two RBI and Alex Schmidt was 3 for 5 with a triple and two RBI for WNC (9-5), ranked 14th in the nation. Riverside fell to 2-4.
The two teams play again tonight at 6.
