Mike and Amanda Williams of Dayton announced the engagement of their daughter Carissa Marie Brewer to Cory Daniel Buchel.
The bride-to-be is a 2011 graduate of Silver State High School. She is currently employed as a teacher's aide in Battle Mountain.
The groom-to-be is the son of Marty and Sandra Buchel. He is a 2007 graduate of Battle Mountain High School. He works at the mines in Elko.
An April 14, 2012, wedding is scheduled at the Winnemucca Inn.
