Lambertson Industries sold

Lambertson Industries and Kenrick Stainless Furniture of Sparks have been acquired by Weiss Partners Inc., a private equity group headquartered in Reno.

Terms were disclosed as the transaction was announced last week.

Founded more than 50 years ago by Ted Lambertson, Lambertson Industries makes stainless steel sinks, tubs, dish tables, hoods and ventilation equipment.

Ken Hewson, who purchased the company in 2008 from the Lambertson family, launched Kenrick Stainless Furniture, a sister company that manufactures office furnishing from stainless steel.

The two companies employed about a dozen people at facilities at Tahoe Reno Industrial Center.

Brad Bottoset of The Liberty Group of Nevada, LLC Business Brokerage in Reno represented the seller, and Don Stigers of The Liberty Group of Nevada, LLC represented the buyer.
