Renee Olson, chief financial officer for the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation, has been named administrator of the department's Employment Security Division.
Olson succeeds Cindy Jones, who left to become deputy director for Nevada's Department of Administration.
Olson was named chief financial officer for DETR three years ago. She previously worked six years as a financial institutions examiner with the state's Financial Institutions Division and held positions with Valley Bank of Nevada and American Federal Savings.
She is a business graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno.
