Nearly 40 vendors will be on hand at Carson Mall today to offer advice, display their products and provide information on how to be healthier, wealthier, wiser and more attractive for 2012.
From 1 to 7 p.m., the Carson City Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the mall, is hosting what it hopes will be the first of many free annual Health, Beauty and Wellness Faires for the mind, body and soul.
The Carson City Department of Health & Human Services and Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center will be on hand, as well as dentists, beauty consultants and more, to offer their services. Door prizes will be offered, and all attendees will receive free raffle tickets for prizes.
The Faire is directed to all ages with something for everyone including demonstrations by students of the Carson ATA Black Belt Academy at 4:15 p.m.and Positive Energy dancing at 3:45 p.m.
Other vendors will offer information on cosmetic laser procedures, anti-aging, pet therapy, senior and health care, stress release, sports products, olive oil, perfumes, yogurt, health insurance, exercise, supplements, pet health, massage therapy, beauty products, dental health, books, gifts and beauty accessories.
