The City of Sparks last week launched a mobile app for the iPhone to help visitors find restaurant, shopping and nightlife attractions, as well as local city news, weather and special event information.
The application was developed by Infotech Mobile of Reno.
The app can be downloaded at from Apple by searching for "Sparks NV" in the company's App Store, or at http://www.cityofsparks.us/visiting/mobile-apps-page. Apps for phones running on the Android OS and Blackberry devices are scheduled for release later this quarter.
