Obituary: Chad Cryer

Chad Cryer lost his battle to live on June 28, 2012 at the age of 39. His wife of 14 years, Renee Amys Cryer was with him, along with his three children, Max, 13, Cole, 12 and Grace, 9. His dad and mom, Steve and Connie Cryer, sister, Julie Cryer Miramon, Renee's parents, Randy and Vickie York, brothers-in-law Travis Amys and Erik York, and nieces, Madison and Lily Miramon were also at his side.

Chad lived his 39 years in the Reno/Carson City/Dayton area, attending schools and making many life-long friends. In 1998, he married his true love, Renee, and they had their three children. All that Chad loved about Nevada he shared with his family. They spent their time together fishing, hunting, camping and enjoying everything this area had to offer.

Chad's main focus in this life was his family, but everyone who knew him also knew they could depend on him for his help, guidance and support. He was kind and caring, funny, smart, loving and devoted. Our lives without this wonderful man is hard to fathom.

We will be celebrating Chad's life and all the laughter and love he brought to us all at a a memorial service on Saturday, July 28, 2012, at 1:00pm. We will gather at the South Reno Baptist Church, 6780 So. McCarran Blvd in Reno. All who knew him and all who loved him are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, and in memory of Chad, a donation may be made to the National Marfan Foundation, 22 Manhasset Ave., Port Washington, NY 11050, or visit the website: www.marfan.org
