Carson City
The following person was booked into the Carson City Jail early Friday. He is innocent unless proved guilty in court.
• Edwin Richard Guziki, 44, of Carson City, was arrested about 4:45 a.m. Friday and charged with felony possession of methamphetamine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.
He was seen driving away from a business near Hot Springs Road and Tiger Drive and pulled over when he saw a patrol car, despite the deputy not turning on his emergency lights, according to the arrest report.
The deputy contacted Guziki and asked if there was anything illegal in the car, and Guziki said he had a meth pipe, according to the report.
He was arrested and, during a further search of the car, a bag of methamphetamine was also found, according to the report.
His bail was $3,100.
