Stefan Humphries

Stefan Humphries has joined Renown Rehabilitation Hospital as medical director.

Humphries previously was the Medical Director of St. Luke's Rehabilitation Institute in Spokane, Wash., for nearly seven years. Prior to that, he was the medical director of the Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Colorado Springs for seven years.

Humphries was a professional football player with the Chicago Bears and the Denver Broncos.

Dr. Humphries earned his medical degree in 1993 from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver. He then completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn., in 1998. He earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Washington's Foster School of Business in Seattle. Humphries earned a bachelor's degree in bioengineering from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.
