Robert E. Bydalek died on February 26, 2012. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on September 16, 1922. He served in the Army Air Corps Troop Carrier Command in WWII in England, France, Italy and Germany. After graduation from the University of Illinois, he worked as a news photographer in Kankakee, Illinois. He served as Public Information Officer for the Nevada Employment Security Department until his retirement. He was preceded in death by daughter, Lisa; and is survived by his wife, Melinda; son, John (Anne); and grandkids Madeleine and Glenn.
Many thanks to the people at Gentiva, VistaCare Hospice and the Ormsby Post Acute Rehab nursing home for their assistance in the past months. At his request, there will be no public service. Arrangements entrusted to Walton's Chapel of the Valley, Carson City.
