Our loving mother passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012, at home, joining her beloved husband, Richard Correia.
Shirley was born to John Adam and Edith Laudenglos on October 15, 1935, joined in life with 7 brothers and sisters, all deceased. She was raised by devoted grandparents Anita and Frank Lewthwaite in Thurston County, Wash. Shirley worked for Salvation Army before retiring.
She is survived by her children, Mike & Debbie Ball from Aromas, CA, Michele & Elmer Woodard from Olympia, WA, Teresa & Russel Howard of Carson City, NV, Tim & Sissy Rosario from Los Gatos, Henry & Sue Correia from Carson City, NV, Bill & Jenny Rosario from Klamath Falls, OR; 20 grandchildren, 1 deceased; 16 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. There will be a celebration of life Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 2pm at 222 B St., Carson City. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Hospice.
