Clothing thief: Yesterday morning a bold thief stole a suit of clothes from one of the dummies in front of Boskowitz's store. The theft was in broad daylight, and only a few yards from the County Jail, where he will most likely be taken soon.

The death of Charlie Sue was a peculiar one. During the past few years he has become a broom seltzer fiend. It was common for him to use a 50 cent bottle of the stuff daily. He was warned more than a year ago to stop using the stuff. The doctor in charge of the case states several other patients have become fiends on this deadly drug.

Governor Carville has opposed Army plans to dump enemy aliens in Nevada. The Army chief of the western defense command indicated he could not respect the wishes of the nine inland governors.

The regular meeting of the Do-Carette Cootiette Club #428 was held at Hero's Memorial Hall. Chief Grayback Izora Lee presided. During the past month members sent more than 1,000 used Christmas Cards to the crippled children's center.

After four months of delay, Carson-Tahoe Champion Speedway officials are ready to ask planning commissioners what uses have been traditionally allowed at the track.
