Carson City Sheriff's officers spent most of the day today searching for a missing 11-year-old Hispanic boy, Angel Gomez.
They say the boy reportedly got on the bus Friday morning to go to school at Bordewich-Bray Elementary, but that there are conflicting reports regarding whether he boarded the bus for home after school.
Parents, who believed the boy was with a friend, reported him missing at about 8 a.m. today.
Sheriff Kenny Furlong said officers, including Search and Rescue and reserves, scoured the neighborhood and followed up on leads.
Gomez was finally located at the home of a friend at about 1:45 p.m.
