Theft reports of Virginia Range horses are unsubstantiated, NDA says

It has come to the attention of the Nevada Department of Agriculture that false reports of possible theft of Virginia Range estray/feral horses are traveling through electronic media.

The NDA wants to assure citizens that this is false and that there have been no reports that any individual is attempting to illegally capture state horses.

At no time has a state brand inspector reported to command, or to any citizens, theft activity on the Virginia Range.
