(AP) - NV Energy is accepting applications from nonprofit agencies for assistance grants to help fund energy efficiency retrofit projects.
The program will fully fund projects up to $5,000. Projects costing between $5,000 and $10,000 require a 50 percent match from the nonprofit organization.
Grant applications are rated on electrical energy savings and are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis.
The application deadline is Aug. 15. All projects must be completed by Nov. 15.
