Mark Gookin has joined the AMEC Environmental and Infrastructure Group in Reno as a senior associate water resources engineer.
Gookin, who has 25 years experience in water-resources engineering in northern Nevada and the Lake Tahoe area, previously worked as a principal with Wood Rodgers. He also has worked as a senior principal with MACTEC.
He also is president-elect of the Truckee Meadows chapter of the American Council of Engineering Companies.
