The Palladio office space acquired

The 6,000-square-foot second floor of The Palladio in downtown Reno has been purchased by Vince Griffith, owner of Reno Land & Cattle Investment Co.

The price wasn't disclosed.

Griffith said last week that 1,000 square feet of the space will be occupied by Reno Engineering Co. The engineering company, which also is owned by Griffith, has handled much of the planning for Double Diamond Ranch, South Meadows Business Park and Reno-Tahoe Industrial Center.

Snaggle Tooth Studio, meanwhile, has leased 1,300 square feet in The Palladio space purchased by Griffith. Headed by International Game Technology veteran Ben Hoffman, Snaggle Tooth Studio is a developer of games for casino and mobile applications.

Griffith said he is in talks with other potential tenants.

The Palladio at 50 N. Sierra St. is a 12-story development offering eight floors of condominium residences atop four floors of commercial and office space.
