Carolyn M. Wardwell, 67, passed away April 6, 2012 in Carson City, Nevada. She was born January 3, 1945 in Garden City, Kansas to Clyde and Helen Dean. Loving mother & friend, loved all of God's creatures & saved as many of them along the way as possible. A respected member of the community, she volunteered for many local charities and served as president of Stagecoach bingo. She worked as a civilian member of the US Air Force for over ten years. She will be loved, and missed by many and made the world a better place for us all with her unconditional love, devotion and wisdom.
Carolyn is survived by her son, Vince Rule; daughter-in-law, Angela; grandchildren, Ian Rule, Sean Kinney, Lindsay Kinney; and great-grandson Ty Martinez, all of Grass Valley, CA.
All are welcome to attend a celebration of life on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Stagecoach Community Center, 8204 Hwy 50 East from 3:30-5:30pm. Donations may be made to the Rule family at that time.
