Anthony Todd Martin, 32, was sentenced to 10 to 27 years in prison Tuesday after being found guilty of property and violent crimes.
He was sentenced on five felonies: Burglary, theft, being an ex-felon in possession of a firearm, assault with a deadly weapon, and discharging a firearm at or into an occupied structure.
According to court records, on Aug. 24, 2011, Martin pointed a shotgun at a woman while making "angry demands and accusations" and also fired it into a garage occupied by another woman. In the second case, Assistant District Attorney Gerald Gardner said, the belongings of half-a-dozen burglary victims were found in Martin's shed.
Gardner said Martin blamed methamphetamine addiction for his crimes.
Martin has several previous arrests, and court records show he pleaded guilty to felony theft in 2008.
Judge James E. Wilson "was really concerned with this man's behavior," Gardner said, before describing the sentence as "massive."
All but one of the felony sentences will run consecutively, Wilson ruled.
