A Poem by Donnabelle (date unknown)
"Happy birthday to my dearest friend
Who I think of now and then,
And of days when we had fun
Playing tennis in the sun
Bicycling around the lake
Did we ever take a break?
Watching movies in the school yard
Sliding, swinging, playing hard.
Walking, singing, dancing too
It was swell to do with you.
All the good times that we had
I don't remember anything bad.
My thanks to you, dearest friend
And now time to say again
A very happy birthday and my love",
Donna Stange
