Sherrie Cartinella of Ferrari Lund Real Estate has been recognized as Realtor of the Year by the Reno-Sparks Association of Realtors.
Cartinella has served as president of the association, a director of the Nevada Association of Realtors and has held numerous other professional and community leadership positions.
Others honored by the Realtors Association include:
* Mark Ashworth, an agent with Transaction Realty 500, named winner of the Abraham Curry Award which recognizes service to the profession.
* Sarah Lindsay, a loan officer with Eagle Home Mortgage, recognized as Affiliate of the Year.
* Ken Amundson of Transaction Realty 500, honored as Educator of the Year.
* Carol Murphy, who won the Realtors' Good Neighbor Award for her work with Truckee Meadows Habitat for Humanity.
