Passed away peacefully November 28, 2012 surrounded by her loving family after a short but stoic battle with cancer.
Joan was preceded in death by her beloved husband Don Simpson; she is survived by her children Irene (Mark) Figari and Alan (Laura) Simpson; grandchildren, Brandi, Robert, Skye and Camiell (Alan), Michaela and Chiara (Irene) Figari; great grandmother of Wyatt, Wesley, Lola and Brooklyn; daughter of the late George and MaryEllen Knorr; sister of the late Richard and George Knorr; and sister-in-law of Michel Knorr and Carolyn Simpson.
Friends and family may visit Saturday December 1, 2012 from 10am and are invited to attend the Funeral Service at 12pm at Duggan's Serra Mortuary, 500 Westlake Ave, Daly City.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the San Francisco S.P.C.A. or the American Cancer Society.
