Yesterday the School Trustees held their regular monthly meeting and determined that due to the crowded conditions of the Central School building, they will rent the school room in the rear of the Episcopal Church at a monthly rental of $15, for the first primary class.

Fred Skinner, serving a 50-year sentence at the Nevada State Prison, cleverly escaped his cell the other night. Found in his cell was a screwdriver he used to unfasten the cell door. Skinner used insulated cutters to cut the high voltage wires at the back wall. This is the first escape in quite a few years.

County Clerk Marietta Legate said today that only licensed hunters will be able to acquire deer tags. There has been some difference of opinion lately if boys under 14 can purchase tags.
