Obituary: Diane Loving

This obituary is as unique as the person who wrote it:

Greetings,

My name is Diane Nesbeth

Loving; I expired on October 6, 2012. I am a 4th generation Carsonite and my great-grandchildren are the 7th generation to be born in Carson City, I was very proud of that.

As a teenager I worked at the Arlington Hotel, Bandana Drive-in, and the Hunger Hut. Of course they are non-existent now.

I was a grocery checker at Mayfair Market for 18 years and at Scolaris for 17 years. Thirty five years of plastic and paper was enough, so I retired in 2003.

I enjoyed watching my great-grandchildren. My kids, grandkids, and great-grandkids were my life.

I was preceded in death by my daughter, Denise Bailey Edmunds in 2009. Survivors include my mother, Gladys Pederson; brother, Eric Pederson; daughter, Leanne Vidovich; sons, Mike and Marc Bailey; granddaughters, Kaitie, Cassie and Michaela; grandsons, Justin and Austin; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Sydnee. To my family; don't be sad, I'll be waiting for you down here when it's your time.

Diane took the time to write her own obituary as you can see. She went peacefully in her sleep and we are all very grateful for that. Although she will be deeply missed she wished to have no services.
