Health inspections

Carson City Health Department’s food-service inspections for Oct. 11. All scores are on a 100-point scale, with points deducted depending on the severity of violations:• Carson City BBQ Co., 5110 S. Edmonds Drive, scored 97 points. This inspection was conducted at the chicken wing cook off in the Carson Station parking lot. There was no proof that a certified food handler was present.• Carson Horseshoe Club Bar 1, 402 N. Carson St., scored 98 points. Food contact surfaces of the speed gun and speed gun holster were not clean and continued a buildup of debris.• Carson Horseshoe Club Bar 2, 402 N. Carson St., scored 100 points.• Carson Middle School cafeteria, 1140 W. King St., scored 100 points.• Empire Elementary School cafeteria, 1260 Monte Rosa St., scored 100 points.• Fairview Food Mart, 1501 Fairview Drive #4, scored 100 points.• Grace Bordewich Elementary School cafeteria, 110 S. Thompson St., scored 100 points.• Mark Twain Elementary School cafeteria, 2111 Carriage Crest Drive, scored 100 points.• Pioneer High School cafeteria, 202 E. Corbett St., scored 100 points. • Plaza Hotel and Conference restaurant, 801 S. Carson St., scored 98 points. Milk and cream products were found stored in the walk-in cooler with expired date codes. Corrected on site.• Raleys Bakery, 3701 S. Carson St., scored 99 points. Found several dispensing utensils not stored properly. The bulk flour scoop and bulk sugar scoop were found in the food with the handles touching the food. Corrected on site.• Raleys Deli Department, 3701 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.• Raleys Hot Wok, 3701 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.• Raleys Meat Department, 3701 S. Carson St., scored 100 points.• Raleys Peet’s Coffee & Tea, 3701 S.
