Carol and Walt Aster of Minden will celebrate 50 years of marriage with family in Brentwood, Calif. The couple met at a ballroom dance in Chicago and were married on Sept. 22, 1962. The Asters have four children: Jim Aster of Brentwood, Calif.; Patricia Balocco of Brentwood, Calif.; Rich Aster of Concord, Calif. and Barbara Washington of Redwood City, Calif.Walt is a retired real estate broker and Carol is a retired office worker.
