Glass Guru opens new location

The Glass Guru window service has opened a new location in Carson City. Established in 2004, the new franchise owners of the Carson City location are Daniel and Julia Magrath.

NBC breakfast meeting Sept. 19

Christensen, Nelson join Bella Salon Spa

Hairstylist Penelope Christensen of Portland, Oregon has joined Bella Salon Spa in Carson City.

Christensen has been working in the beauty industry for over 15 years performing services from makeup artistry to product distribution. She has been a hairstylist for seven years. Christensen excels in the art of color and color correction.

Aesthetician Rachel Nelson of Bloomington, Minnesota also has has joined Bella Salon Spa in Carson City.

Nelson graduated from Scot Lewis in Bloomington, Minn., in 2006 and went on to attend additional classes at the International Dermal Institute in Minneapolis. She has worked in the spa industry since then, specializing in facials, waxing and makeup services. Nelson will launch microdermabrasion at the salon this October.
