Festival at Plaza Hotel Event Center features treasures from Earth

A Festival of Earthly Treasures featuring rocks, gems and healing arts is set for 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday at the Plaza Hotel Event Center, 801 S. Carson St.

The festival will include displays featuring belly dancing, jewelry, horticulture therapy, massage, silent auction, readings, workshops and food and drink.

Raffle prizes will be given away every 20 minutes.

Admission is $5. Children 12 and younger get in free.

Proceeds will benefit the Esperanza Foundation, which is dedicated to healing post-traumatic stress disorder.
