Labor Day weekend train rides are set

The historic Virginia and Truckee train will offer 30-minute rides departing every 45 minutes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 31 through Sept. 2. Trains leave from and return to the Wabuska Depot, 2180 S. Carson St.

“Steam: An Enduring Legacy, the Railroad Photographs of Joel Jensen” photo exhibit featuring 25 dramatic black and white images will be displayed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Wabuska Depot.

All-inclusive daily tickets offer access to trains, all exhibits and admission to the museum’s Jacobsen Interpretive Center, open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Outdoor exhibits will be displayed from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults; $8 for ages 12-17 and $4 for ages 4-11.
