Annual living nativity set

First United Methodist Church will host its annual drive-through living nativity from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Dec. 14-15. The entrance is at Division and King streets, west of Carson Street.

The event features 10 scenes — lit by 800 luminaria — with live donkeys, cows and sheep. It occupies a city block. A walking path will be available.

Admission is free, and canned foods donations will be accepted for local distribution.

Spiritual wisdom event set

Eckankar, Religion of the Light and Sound of God will sponsor “Spiritual Wisdom on Relationships” at 10 a.m. Dec. 21 at the Carson City Community Center.

The one-hour service will feature a facilitator who will give a brief talk, followed by readings, a small-group discussion and short contemplation.
