Nevada gas prices continue to fall

LAS VEGAS — Nevada motorists are finding holiday cheer at the gas pumps.

AAA reports the average price for gallon of regular unleaded has fallen 7 cents in the past month to a statewide average of $3.28.

Some areas have seen even bigger declines since November. The price is Las Vegas is down 13 cents while the average price in Reno has fallen 10 cents.

Nationally, the average price is $3.26 per gallon.

North Las Vegas has the cheapest gas in the state at $3.20, while Elko reports the most expensive at $3.52.

AAA says abundant supplies, flat demand and falling crude oil prices are contributing to lower gasoline prices.
