For more information, call 775-885-7907 or go to www.jpcarchitect.com.NRHA names NSB ‘Most Valuable Partner’ The Nevada Rural Housing Authority has named Nevada State Bank “Most Valuable Partner,” one of the NRHA’s highest awards to a bank or lending institution. “Nevada State Bank has been instrumental in providing WISH program funding for the NRHA,” said Gary Longaker, NRHA executive director. “The money comes from an award by the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco and Nevada State Bank has been an important player in bringing these dollars into our region to help young rural families go from renters to first time home buyers.”The WISH program triples the down payment contribution of qualified homebuyers up to $15,000. It is used in conjunction with the NRHA’s Mortgage Credit Certificate program. Principals of all public grade schools in Carson, Churchill, Douglas, Humboldt, Lyon, Mineral, Pershing, Storey and Washoe counties can participate through Feb. 22 to win funds for projects that benefit the school as a whole.Northern Nevada principals are encouraged to submit a proposal explaining how the school would benefit from winning $10,000. To submit an entry, click on the “School Upgrade” tab on Dolan Auto Group’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/DolanAutomotiveGroup through Friday Feb. 22. Project proposals are voted on by fans of the Facebook page until March 17. The three schools that earn the most votes are announced March 20. All submissions must be entered by 11:59 p.m. Feb. 22.
