Lobbyist firms join forces

Forte LLP and Capitol Partners LLC, two public-policy advocacy companies headquartered in Reno, have created a joint venture to represent clients during this year's session of the Nevada Legislature.

Forte LLP is owned by Marsha Berkbigler and Mendy Elliott. Capitol Partners is owned by Peter Krueger. The joint venture will use the established names of the two firms during thes session.

Among clients they represent are Cigar Association of America, Nevada Petroleum Marketers a C-Store Association, Nevada State Apartment Association, Northern Nevada United Way, Nevada State Chiropractic Physicians Board, City of Fernley, Western Petroleum's Marketers Association, and Energy Alliance.
