Officers seeking man who allegedly stabbed ex-girlfriend during fight

The Carson City Sheriff's Office is seeking a 31-year-old man in connection with a stabbing on Fall and Corbett streets Thursday afternoon.

Officers responded at 2:10 p.m. to a call in which a woman said she had been in a confrontation with an ex-boyfriend from Arizona who had cut her arm with a knife.

The woman was hospitalized for her wound, which was deep, Sheriff Ken Furlong said.

The man is described as a Hispanic male, 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 175 pounds, with long, dark hair.

He reportedly was wearing a gray shirt and dark-colored pants.

Anyone with information or who spots him is asked to call 775-887-2008.
